who we are
Everyone who's ever created anything — a poem, a song, a drawing, a dance — knows that feeling of catharsis when an idea comes to life.
It's even more powerful when the creation is born from a place of deep emotion. Whether it's joy, despair, anger, longing, grief, humor, confusion... or simply the need to get something off your chest... art heals. But it's not only form of expression... art can also be a vehicle for change.

At the vigilante project, we raise awareness about things we care about through art in all its forms.
From social issues and civil rights to personal topics and cultural matters, we believe art and expression creates conversations, fights stigma, raises awareness and creates change in the world.
“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”
