a word about relationships

It may sound odd, but sometimes you can be in an abusive relationship without even realizing it.

While physical abuse is obvious, other types of abuse -- which can be just as damaging and serious as physical abuse -- are often sneaky and hard to detect as a victim. These types of abuse include emotional/verbal abuse, psychological/mental abuse, sexual abuse, financial/economic abuse, and cultural abuse.
